Need a Car?  A1 Benefit Auctions conducts up to 12 Automobile Auctions per week.  We sell Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, RV's and Boats that have been impounded by the San Jose Police Department, Santa Clara County Sheriff, and California Highway Patrol then liened by the towing company.  We also sell donated and repossessed vehicles on occasion.  These sales are open to the public, however; all vehicles are sold in "as is" condition with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied and which may or may not comply with California and Federal emission standards. As a condition of sale the buyer agrees to bring vehicles into smog compliance and register them or scrap non-complying vehicles.  Buyer's are also responsible for registering the vehicle.  Sales Tax, Transfer Fees and past Registration fees may apply at the time of registration.  Buyers will be provided with Lien Sale paperwork to take to the DMV at registration.  The DMV does not require payment of Parking/Speeding Tickets acquired by the previous owner of the vehicle unless the transfer is being completed with a Certificate of Title rather than Lien Sale Paperwork.  Keep in mind that the cars may go "cheap" but "cheap" isn't always a "bargain."
